Frost on a Tree

Captured so suddenly at night
Branches unmoving left no fight
Icy cage wrapped round oak wood
Slivering skin set such a mood

Frost a gift for nature and me
Brilliant composure simply
Craftsman still unchallenged in skill
Written New Hampshire on a hill

Frost how dost thou describe this tree
Frost ever so elagantly
There is no snowy evening
But gentle dew in the morning

Greatest scribe deemed deceased
He left with us a poetry feast
Wood, fire, and ice are his muses
Nature left to our abuses.

"The heart can think of no devotion
Greater than being shore to ocean
Holding the curve of one position
Counting an endless repetition"

Frost was a cool dude. (no pun intended. )
Nice tribute.

I don't much like frost.....
Anyhow, I think you did this poem VERY well. I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have talent!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I admire it daily

I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am.
