For the first time you didn't break my heart

When I saw you sign on
And for the first time my heart didn't skip a beat
I no longer think about how far you've gone
I've got so many new people now to meet

Now when I see you in the hall
I feel no horrible pain inside
I don't feel weak, I know I won't fall
I've moved on, and set you aside

I've got someone wonderful and new
I've gone on, and made a new start
I no longer dwell on what we went through
For the first time you didn't break my heart

I really like your poem. I know exactly what it's talking about and it gave me a feeling of rememberance. I hope to read more.

It's good to see that you are slowly moving on. Very good! I'm happy to see you progressing. Your writing has also gotten much better and this was a wonderful poem.
