The beauty of it surrounds us.
It enhances our senses and the world
drifts away.
Therei s only the two of us.

The scent of you teases my nostrils.
your smile lights in my eyes.

Such feelings rage through me and
I don't understand, but your touch
is reassuring as your hands caress my cheek,
and i don't know if it your hands, or the breeze.

I look into your eyes, and they are
soft limpid pools of light.

Your hand slides down my arm,
and little shocks of lightning
reach my brain.

We both know what we want to do.

You lean down to press your lips against mine.
I feel your breath on my cheek. My eyes close.
But then, all of a sudden, they open and I am
back in my room lying in my bed. A dream

I lie back in my bed and smile, eager to get back to sleep. Eager to meet you in my dreams
and awake again, but this time this time with the
taste of you on my lips.

Wow... beautiful poem! It's going into my library. I love the ending... It was like I was there. Wonderful job. I haven't seen anything from you in Teen #4, so if this id your first time in Teen #4, then welcome! We're glad you're here. It looks like you're going to be a good addition to the family. Great poem.

I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am.

Sweet poem. I liked how real it seemed. You wrote this dream well!

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Our dreams are a welcome and beautiful escape. This is a wonderful description of that beauty. Thanks for sharing.

I love the dreams where what you want most becomes yours, and everything is right. Now only if it could be that way in real life... Great poem, liked it alot.

Dreams rule.
And this one must have... hehe
Great job! I think you illustrated the situation very well.

i've noticed that when a dream is bad, we can't seem to wake up
but if a dream is good, the alarm clock always ruins it
hope you get your kiss
