What does it matter,
What we think on the inside?

So, shes attracted to girls,
And he, to guys.

I know for some people its hard,
But they are no different from you and I.

I, myself have a secret,
That few people know.

Those who do,
Don’t look at me any different.

I hear people all around,
Telling me its wrong.

But I just can't help,
What I felt when we kissed.

I never said a word,
Until you told me your secret.

Mine, you’ve known for awhile,
Somehow, it’s easier when you have someone by your side.

I never quite saw why it mattered,
It was their business, not mine.

Friends no matter what,
Then my secret came out.

A forbidden crush,
To no one else did it matter.

I have love for many people,
He and she, it doesn’t matter.

Hey ses! I liked this. Very nice style within it. Good job on it!

Ses, a really good poem with a great message.
Keep telling yourself it isn't wrong because people are who they are. If they tell you it's wrong, tell them to go to hell.

I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am.

Hey Ses! This is a great piece, and I think it has a great message, but it's a shame some people are too closed minded to accept things.

I dream things that never were and say why not." ~RFK

I totally agree with you and i think that its amazing that your not letting people influence you on your decisions. Its your life and you should be the only one to choose how to live it..and live it to the fullest!

Hey, great poem! I think it's important for society to realize that people like you and I are quite plentiful, and are no different from any of them for it. He and she, it doesn't matter. I couldn't have said it better myself.
See you around.

It's truely terrible that the phrase "forbidden crush" must even exsist.  Co'mon, it's the 90's...err, the...um, 01's?

Yeah...anyway, good message and don't let them grind ya down!
