It doesn't matter who is your friend
nor does it matter what you and your friends like
you don't have to like everything about them.

But then there's some "groups" who think their all that,
when their not
They think we are the top of the world.

Then one day a new person walks threw the doors
no one wants to be their friend
so he/she starts telling people things.

Soon that shy person is killing others
because no one paid any attention to them
because he/she was so shy or different.

Just think about that kid
that no one wanted to talk to
then he shot peers

All because of one thing
is "groups"
so the next time you step into some where new

Think of the kid
who no one liked because he was shy

Oh I love this. The message is powerful, and the emotion in it strong, seems almost deperate. I absolutely love this, and it's goinginto my library. Because I'm usually that one people don't like, but I'm stable, don't worry Val ;-)

The message was indeed powerful... I am quite aware of the "class system" in schools these days. and I am proud to be a part of a smaller group, in which we allow one another great individuality. As a result, we are not as close as some groups appear to be, but it allows a great deal of independence.
We had a shy new kid just awhile ago. So we talked to him, and it just so happens he's quite a bit like us. Now he's probably one of my closest friends out of all of them.
So yeah, talk to the shy kids. You never know.

I think that this post talks about something that is quite important in news right now. It's such a tragedy that situations like this are occurring all around the world. I surely hope we can all learn from this and better ourselves for the future.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I think it's terrible that kids can be ostracized so much that this is what happens. It's horrible being a kid nowadays. And as far as cliques go... they do fill a void, some people need a group to feel accepted, and it is nice to feel part of something. But then they exclude others, and that's where the nonsense begins. Great idea to post this... I hope people understand that no matter what killing others is not the answer.

You have shared a beautiful message to everyone.
And I'll agree with it 100 percent
no more cliques

This is a beautiful poem, with a very good message. More people need to think like this. If they did, I think this world would be so much better.
Very good poem! Nicely written.

I wrote a story called The Best of Friends for my friend Kelly. She loves *N sync but I really don't care who is her favorite band. She's in with Justin Timberlake, and this hockey player, I think it's cool. If you'd like to see my story email me and I can send it to you. Bye for now Min
