What do you do when
You can't hold back tears?
When you're scared and now
You're face to face with your fears?
What do you do when you have so much to say
But so little time,
When loving just seems like a crime?
The hurt is staring you right in the face
And you feel like you gotta
Run from this place.
All you want is someone to put
Their arms around you
If that special person only knew
What do you do?

What do you do when there's guns and hate?
Unfortantly they control our fate
When alcohol and drugs
Are no longer cured with hugs?
Peer pressure...
It's too high you can't measure
What do you when your friends are dying,
When the whole world is crying?
If they only knew...
What do you do?

What do you do when
You can fight no more,
When you've given up
And closed the door?
You're loosing yourself,
Your only friend
The tears have stopped
And now comes the end...
If you only knew
What do you do?...

*I wrote this because I've lost 5 friends to a car accident, and at school there are so many people doing drugs, then sometimes I loose control of myself. I want direct comments please.*

What do you do?
You stay strong and fight
When you think you've lost strength,
Get back up and fight
Fight for your beliefs

Stay strong and keep that head up.
Nice poem.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

You accept what has happened to you, but make changes to not let these things affect you again. Don't roll over and take it. It can do many terrible thing.

Stay strong... And you have all of us here to talk to. I liked this poem. It's one of the best I've read from you. Keep it up.

This was an amazing poem. I dont know how i'd be able to last through all of that so i give you major credit for remaining so stable. It's a hard thing to do and it takes a very strong person to get through such things. I admire you and your writing. Great job and im sorry to hear about the loss of your friends.
