“Life”
Its scary people get put to challenges
Like cancer that’s hard but scary for the person who has it
But then the whole family gets cancer in their heart
When the person who has cancer hurts the family hurts as well

The family or friends don’t feel sorry, pity for them
They are there to help the person get threw their life
One member might have a closer relationship with them
One member might have a disability and looks up to them

The person who has cancer has a lot of courage
They teach the rest of the family how to be your self
They don’t want to be treated any differently
Because they are the same person as before but now they have cancer

You may lose them one day
You will be so lost without them
You’ll want them back so much
You’ll miss them when they go to heaven

But when the time comes
The family will be sad as well as the person who is dying
They don’t want to leave, they’d want to stay
But finally they’re gone into a better place

No more cancer
No more suffering
No more pain with treatments
No more anything, freedom now

But they’ll never forget the family
They’ll have a special place in their heart
You have a special place in you heart for them
You’ll never forget them.

You've captured a very difficult time in a family's life Minna ... there is much wisdom and understanding in your words. Hugs to you for the beauty of life and love throughout these lines ...

I don't think its your best but either way its good. If someone in your family has cancer I hope they get better

I know it's not one my best, but I wanted to show that. When someone in the family has cancer it goes to the families hearts,and it hurts to have someone cause you know that they are getting weaker. Then like my family had to be there for my dad until he died, his friends had to be there for him also. I was a daddys liitle girl so it's really hard for me without my dad. I have a disability so it's hard for me because he understood me like no one would believe. I remember when I had a surgery my dad would be there, I had to stay a month cause after the surgery I had gotten so sick. My dad stayed over night took time off work just to be with me. He was worried if I'd die when he wasn't with me, he was an awesome dad. There's never a day that I don't think of him, he's in my heart and the rest of my family, his friends.

Nice job on this Minna, I know your dad meant the world to you and I hope things get better in your mind with the loss.

Same here, Acire... Minna definitely knows how to bring me near tears.
You are a very strong person. I wish you the best of luck, but I know you won't need it because you have courage.
This poem was quite good as well, very expressive and emotional.
Maybe it's not your best, but that's only because you are such a magnificent poet and have a lot of poetry in your history that is tough to top.

And I know the feeling, trust me. hehe
