First let me say "Hi" to everyone who has joined the Passions family in the past 3-4 months, since I am never on. Not much time between school and work. This is just something I had to write for one of my classes...what a way to come out to my peers.

Why do I keep my feelings locked up tight?
I love you more than words could ever say.
You are in my dreams each and every night,
Yet I continue to push you away.

I hear the murmurs of society,
While sitting in class or riding the bus,
What they say comes in variety,
But they are all talking down about us.

I should not let they decide things for me.
It can be hard going against the norm,
But you are the one that I really need.
Together we can conquer this great storm.

Let's hold up our heads and shout it out loud,
We are in love, we are out, we are proud.

I like this one. I've got two friends that are in an interracial relationship, and they often get looked down upon because of it. This reminds me of them...sticking through it despite the pressure.
