Well hey everyone. I asked Jeremy an interesting question that I have been using as topic for discussion with a few friends, and he said "hey Allan, you amazing genius you, why not take some time out of your schedule of incredible writing and take your marvelous question to Passions as a challenge to the Teen #4 people? Perhaps they can write some sort of a poem in a feeble attempt to reach your ever-transcendant writing skills?"
Well Jeremy is a pretty smart guy, so I said sure, why not? Here's a cute challenge to all of you.
The situation is as follows--

You are in a trap dungeon with only five doors out. Four of the doors lead to certain death, the other one to freedom. The doors are marked "Love," "Virtue," "Logic," "Faith," and "Chaos." Which door do you walk through?

Well which door, and why? Write a poem about your decision... sounds interesting? Yes, it is!
I'm anxious to see what we come up with. Here's mine.

"Logic" (tanka)

feeble human feet
tread on rationality
firmly underfoot
love and hatred lead you here
emotion cannot save you

So yours doesn't have to be Tanka. Just have fun with it, do whatever format you like. Maybe even include some sort of symbolic fruit? *looks at Dopey*
Best of luck to everyone. Thanks for reading the whole thing.

~Allan

Oh and I'd rather you ~NOT~ discuss your answers in this string. That might influence someone's decision prematurely.
Just write us a nice poem.

Stupidity makes the world go around...and people like us laugh. ~~Elizabeth, to Allan

Hahaha! I said that? I must have been drunk.. wait nope! You liar.. but I have to say it was MY idea

I really loved and enjoyed your poem Allan, although I am choosing a different choice... being the romantic in all... Lovely job!

I know my choice and I may/might/possibly could write a poem for it. If you're nice, I will consider it

"Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it."

Now this is quite an interesting challenge......I might actually participate. I do not garuntee it, but you might actually see a poem pertaining to this.
Anyway ..........*looks around* what about a symbolic fruit? I thought it was a good idea! haha.....

I think Dopey wouldn't add a fruit, but most possibly, he'd have coke in there somewhere

Hmmm...this is a lil too profound and deep for me today...2 hours of sleep + teaching 30 hyper 4-yr olds does not = philosophical mood. But I will ponder this. Interesting question...where did you come up with this???
