A New person all dressed in white
stands my door,pushing it open
no more trust, and no more crys
for help
Too bad for you, her short dark hair
covers her eyes, an evil stare full of
anger and mistrust is placed upon you
Her anger coils tightly around your neck
squeezing all the betrayal and phony words
until there is nothing left but bones
A smooth, bitter laugh ripples the air
evil smiles and looks of utter contempt
plague your heart night and night
eating away at your core, bringing you
into the same empty void of pain
she lives in, a smooth tanned hand
reaches out and pushes you into her pain
making you feel the pain you caused her
A bitter laugh ripples the air
leaving you to soak in her misery

This was pretty dark......i liked it though. Nicely done here Ina......yer quite good at that kind of poetry.

Oh my...
This is your best poem, Regina.
I can't say much more than that... very dark, excellent personifications and techniques...
Splendid! Absolutely amazing!
Obviously, going to the library.
Best poem on page one, IMHO.

Acire, you should put some of us on your "visible" list.
Or don't we deserve it?

I'm putting this to page one. Regina is an amazing poet and this work of art should be seen by more people.
