Physically? VA.... Mentally? I'm not quite sure

Definitely not one of my favorites. I wrote this in about 5 minutes out of boredom.. Let me know what you thiink.

I hate living this way,
Behind all this false pretense.
I wonder,
Why can't I just be me?
Where is the injustice
In that simple action?
There is none;
But yet,
I can't bring myself to
Drop this mask
That has somehow
Become such a permanent part of this "me"
That everyone sees.

I hate living with this
Cruel voice that's always whispering
False words into my already
Painstricken ear.
Will I ever be rid of this
Hopeless feeling?
What else is there
To look forward to?
Is this hell I'm living
All there is to life?

This seemingly endless downward spiral
Has taken hold of me,
And refuses to ease the grip.
Will my life,
From now forward,
Consist of watching myself fall,
Farther and farther?

I hate living with the hundreds of questions
That come with this
Exhausting struggle
To just be myself,
The questions that rattle my brain all day,
And cause many sleepless nights.
No one understands the difficulty,
In just living my life
As me, and no one else.

I hate living this way,
But most of all,
I hate being "me."

I love you :) well this poem expresses what you feel well on come on now I really must stink at poetry if you wrote think is 2 min cause I am bord in Mr. Gay's classes for 2 hours and don't make stuff this good. Well got your babe cya when I cya.

I love it!! I'm always telling people to drop all their little lies, cover-ups, and false images. Trust me, once you stop caring about what other people think of you, then living as the real you is SO easy, and it's a great confidence booster too. Just don't let it go to your head.

Nicely done here. This was quite sad. You are brave to post up things like this. I think we all take these kind of posts for granted. These aren't just words, this is your life we're reading here. I applaud you for having the courage to post this.

yhea pretty sad..but i find myself feeling like this alot. it sucks..but keep smiling and eventually the rain will turn to a rainbow
