Forgetting

I swallow my pain
Pop it like pills
How does it help?
The emptiness it fills

Broken hearts & promises
With nothing to spare
I loved you so much
but you were never there.

I will overcome it
I will learn to smile
I'll learn to forget you
Just give me a while

You'll learn one day
To treat people right
All I can do is pray &
Hope that you might.

This is a good poem. The sheme is very simple, and the message good.
Best of luck with the situation.
