( I do not actually have a title for this yet, but hopefully one day I will. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Amanda)

Your best friend may withdraw from your side and become your worst enemy,
A child may go against his parents in a repulsive confrontation,
Your neighbor may have a feud with you that becomes a legacy,
A household may diverge, repudiating you and all you represent.
Your intelligence can combat your heart until there’s no return,
Everyone may disjoin... everyone may leave you.
However, in this world of Greed, Destruction, and Dismay..
There is a beam of light the gleams a mist the shade.
Through this world of corruption he shall always stay.
And once you depart from this world, and are laid within the ground.
Aloft your catacomb he shall lie, Keeping his pledge never to abandon your side,....
...always to be around.

The title was alright, Amanda.
And the poem is simply excellent. I'm glad that you have found he who will always be with you.
Great job on this piece.

Allan, I thank you for your reply and even more from the Wild Laugh I had gotten from it. The poem holds much more then what you see, and the "he" I am talking about is not what you think. That is why I had to laugh. *smiling Thank you for your reply once again.

Are you sure? I meant God.
Wasn't this right?

lol @ Jer.

Nice one Amanda. You have sparked curiosity in me too now.
Keep on expressing those thoughts.

I like this a lot...I know that MY "he" is Jesus...I know that He will never abandon me. But I am also wondering, who is this person you are writing of? Anyway, this is a really amazing poem!
