Here, hearts harden and feministic extremists
Suck the life out of women,
The earth germinates ashes and only your grimace
Reminds me to cancel the date with the demon,
Who has already set up the table
For a short conversation and one-sided transactions.
But you’re here and I’m happy! I’m almost not able
To conceal satisfaction...
I’m laughing at crooked mirrors. The transparence
Of life smiles back at me with pure fondness.
Urania, behind the bushes, your parents
Will never discern you in oneness
With me, here on my planet.
Believe me, I’ve been trying to ascend, but my feet
Have grown into granite
And only arching my back, do I see you. How sweet
Is you voice! Especially when in silence,
It rings with such verve!
Urania, sweep the stardust off your eyelids,
Onto my palm, -- I’ll implant your offspring on Earth...
But it’s Autumn and maple
Leaves camouflage roads on which time skids with traction.
And you’re here and I’m happy. I’m almost not able
To conceal satisfaction...

In Greek mythology, Urania is the muse of astrology/fate/love... This poem is basically about being in great depression until you meet that one person who changes everything for you and life becomes simple and enjoyable...

Master, I love this piece. There must be nothing like having someone who can change your life like this, wheather it be a muse or a mere mortal like the rest of us! Great work!

Wow, you realy are fantastic man. You could live off publishing these. Keep at it, I'm just glad I get them for free while I can :-)

Master, I'm not going to inflate your ego anymore as I have done enough of the praising you for being such a fantastic writer in the past.

This piece is good but like Jer said, you can't top some of your last pieces. It might just not be my kind of poem (despite the fact I am in love with Greek Mythology) but I can't ever say you have written anything bad in my eyes.

Well done.

Nicely done here. I'll have to say that I'm glad you put an explanation up cuz I didn't understand either.
I liked this one.
