it has been 6 months since me and my love were forced to stop going out. i wrote her this love poem to show her that i'm still in love with her. and after she read the poem she said that she still loves me i jusess that this is what i have been looking for. well i hope you like it.

i try to understand
exactly what is love
what is this feeling
represented by a dove

i see the crazy things
people like to do
look at this thinking
Matt that is not you

to go and give
my life to one
and why only one
that is something i can’t do

to see the face of one person
and to be with them all the time
love is do crazy
it makes some people rhyme

but seeing you right now
i under stand why people do
i know this because
i’m in love with you

i love you with the world
i live to see you face
i will just go and die
if i don’t get your embrace

i run all the way
all the way to you
not having you
is something i will not do

so i give this poem
this poem for you
the only thing i think
is will you love me to?

to share this with me
to go on day to day
know this love
in every shape in every way

somethings need poems and then there are thoes that are just for fun

Hey cool! I think this might be called metaphysical poetry, similar to John Donne's poems like "A Valediction Forbidding Mourning!"

Anyhow, I loved the theme quite a bit. You did a good job here. I am glad that she still loves you. Your rhyming here is quite good. I think that your feelings are well conveyed by this poem.

Awww how sweet!! I really liked this, i wish the one i love would write sumthing like this to me... or I could do it to him hehe
