This is my first post here. I'd just like to share a poem I wrote, with you guys. I'm not sure if I'm gonna post more after this, because I write lyrics, mainly (and music to go with them). We'll see. Anyway, here it is. Drowning me Drown me, my love, in your precious blue eyes, Pull me down again, then make my soul rise. Make me see the dream I was dreaming so deep, When I was, once again, awaken from my sleep. Your love, like an endless blue ocean, That fills the void deep inside my heart, And your look so full of emotion, Make me forget, that life can be (is) hard. The sound of your laughter makes me feel great, So full of love, there's no room left for hate. I've chosen to love you, because that's how I feel, That's how I know, my life is real. Although there's no ground below my feet, No roof above my head, Somehow I feel, with you by my side, I won't end up dead. Well, this is one of my two poems that I've written to go without music. There are some deep stuff in it, but I'm sure you'll all figure out what I wanted to say. If you don't, I won't explain them to you. That's the beauty of poetry, isn't it? |

Very nicely done here on this one! i thought this was very well written. I surely do hope to see you post more.......we post song lyrics here too, so if you'd like to do that then ok.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Well, thanks for the positive reactions everyone. It's a very nice site, with nice, creative people on it, so I'll keep visiting it. P.S.: Lovebug, if only things were how they seem to be. This is so beautiful, Zsolt! The imagery was exceptional. The way you write is so mesmorising. I have to add this to my library.
