Trapped in a cage
of selfdestruction,
tied down tightly
to a rage addiction.
Tantrums and screams
can't help tonight,
no one can hear
as you hopelessly fight.
You have to face it,
you have to see
this decieving demon,
it cannot be.
There's no doubt,
tonight there's no way out.

Planning big can be a gamble...I have already rolled the dice!

A well-written poem, my friend. We all have times when we feel there is no way out, but believe me, there is always a way out! One great way out is through your writing, and I hope you'll always have that release. Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done. I liked this a lot. Written in a moment of desperation.
very nice job here!

I disagree with a couple of these replies..
sometimes there ISNT a way out and you're stuck staring at the decieving demon. Well.. as times goes.. A WAY OUT MAY APPEAR but sometimes you're just stranded!! Sometimes that way out is you realizing that you should pray... prayer is always there as a way out and, yes in most respects there is a way out because of this wonderful, powerful thing called prayer.. but what one must understand is what TearsforPearls is trying to convey! There CAN BE no way out.. sometimes..

Love is God. Love is war. Love is what your life is for.
