Look closely into this poem to find the secret Valentines message, lol. BTW, I call this style syllabic ordinal.

What manner of animal
Could go forth

From simplicity
And into thoughts of self worth,
From cave to city?

Surely such a creature could
Only live in legend.

But when I gaze up at the
Stars I see man's beginning, not end.

But how did we start to wonder
About our origins?

Why do we wonder while
Others just live life in small regions

Of thought and mind, not
To ever see the legions
Of food as subjects

For some deep study
Of life?

Sorry but I dont have time to look into the poem! sorry...   Very good word usage, although I thought the style was a little broken, nice job!

Well I didn't find any valentine's message   I'm sure someone will show me soon enough.  Anyway, good job with the poem, I like it.

All:

The valentines message may be found if you count the number of syllables per line.  Each line consists of a certain number of syllables.  When added to the next line, they form a two digit number.  For example, a stanza with a line of six syllables and then one with three syllables would have encoded within it the ordinal value 63.  You can decode these to their ASCII characters using a standard ASCII table found in most programmers manuals.  It's not a very complex message, but I just thought this would be a cool thing to try.  Maybe the military will pick up on it, LOL

I figured out the message even w/o your explanation
j/k it actually drove me
i see your questioning our evolution
tell me what you find out

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this give life to thee." W.S.

Cool! You got it.

The person, who is actually a codename representing the number of letters in her name, is now just a long past crush. It didn't really get anywhere, as I'm mostly a shy person who doesn't really do too well in actively finding dates.

The affermentioned person is not here, at least I'm pretty sure she's not.
