a mask covers all,
do we wish to see within,
look beneath the skin

     there are certain things
that dwell not on the surface
     rather, in the veins

shatter through the glass,
onto the contrasting side.
thus,you’ll see anew

     but is this correct?
     is the glass not transparent?
     can we not see through?

a mirror of glass,
one may view out, yet not in
join me, and behold

i grow weary of this guise
if you would, lend me your eyes

Yeah, i like "Mirror Shade" better than the last one, personally.
We're definitely keeping up with this style!

ok...I'm starting to think that my fellow poets here are trying to tell me something. First I see a post with "Justin" in the title, and now its "Shade" I'm gonna flip if I see the name "Michael" in the title of a poem.

lol @ Jeremy. Thanks for what you said it really brightened my day.

fractual~ yes, I believe we will be working together more often.

Acrie~ Yes, I think everyone at passions should try this with another member here. It will bring us all ALOT closer together, and these are very fun to do.

Ina~ *smiling Thank you. And yes, things are a bit better now.

Tamma~ lol... And about you not understanding it, I believe this rengay is traslated differently by every person. You just have to figure out what it means to you, if anything at all.

Thank You all for your replies!!!
Sincerely ~"Amanda"~

This was simply wonderful. You two do write together. I liked it a lot.......I might do this one day........naaaaa haha...I don't like team writing. I'm a solo artist.....oh well.
Nice one here guys.........another poem to admire.

we are the merry-makers
and we are the dreamers of dreams

hmmm... i have to admit, i liked this piece... the back-and-forth contrast between (what i only assume) was the two poets was innovative and rather intriguing... i like it... now i just have to find a friend who can write *heh*... oh wait, i have no friends... forget that then... i'll just stick to melancholia

You two come up with the most creative pieces when you write together. I prefer this one to the other one that you wrote.
