Friends.

I mean nothing to you.
The Man of masks.
You could peek under.
But you would have to move.
You are statioary.
You stand the same all the time.
You claim to change, but it is just where you sit that changes
You are always sitting.
Your chiars never move.
I the onlyone among you that walks.
I try to move your chairs.
But you dig in your heels.
The room is slanted.
I try to push you up.
But you do not wish to.
slowly, un knowingly.
You slide
down
down
further
faster
I shout to stop
But you wave me off.
I am exauhsted on the floor.
I chase still.
You beat me off.
Your only motion.
Battered and bruised.
I lay.
whatching my friends fall down the whole.
To empty pain.
I can not move
I can not help.
you have left me useless for you.
So I lay on the floor.
Whatching you fade away.
Fadeing to nothing.
Fadeing... from hope.

well.

Basicaly the poem is about trying to save my friends.  They claim to always have constantly changeing belifes.  But bascaily they just call them new things.
But they are in the same place.

At the end when they fade away bascily they are slideing away because they refuse to move.  They know that what they do will end in their demise but would simply have me stand by and whatch...
I really don't feel like explaining more right now... I think that should be able to help you figure out a bit of it.

I'm sorry to everyone who had to bear witness to this...
i just recently fought against this concept earlier, and now i do it myself?
I'm such a hypocrite.
I'm editing my reply.
Once again, sorry.

"The air is so clear, the sky is so blue
I know what you mean, I feel lucky too
I found a dolor it's like a dream
I love this place, my slurpee is so green

So much easyer to think we did this all ourselfs
so much easyer to let our heards to do wthey felt.
Tho throw our chips up in the air and let the praise fall where it may.

It's a well known fact our hearts are black
A maze full of mice
a game of cosmic dice
a never ending quiz is all you think thi is a gapeing black whole all the glory that you stole

So much easyer to think we did this all ourselfs
so much easyer to let our heards to do wthey felt.
Tho throw our chips up in the air and let the praise fall where it may.

there's no such thing as luck."~Five Iron Frenzy

Yes I did just type out that entire song

Allan, regardless of David being your friend I think some things you said were harsh. You have brought about hostility in this thread, not David.
I think David has a right to talk about God as much as he wants...I thought the poem was great, but I mean I saw no grounds for speaking the phrase of:
"derogatory attitude towards your fellow man is disgusting"

Regardless of him being christian and you being Athiest causes no grounds for you two to battle out your differences here. PEACE for GOD'S sake!
I'm telling you.......geesh......both of you have to chill out.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I admire it daily

People, people. You all forget that this is a thread for all opinions...Religious or not. I am not religious in the ways of Roman Catholic however, would you hold it against me if I spoke about what I believe? I'm not taking sides in this either however if you feel that you have to say things about God, everyone else can say what they think about their faiths. If you don't, its a rather one minded system.

no one's condeming speaking of veiws or anything like that.  They are condeming the disprespectful and hipocritical way in which it can be done.

Some people seem to feel it's okay to repeatedly ignore our Guidelines about personal attacks and then just come back and remove their words. They're wrong. And, in truth, I'm not sure which is worse, the attacks or the subsequent editing. Speaking without forethought is common enough, as is later regretting those hastily spoken words, but trying to cover up the damage suggests a failure to take responsibility. Either you meant the words, in which case they should stand, or you recognize your mistakes, in which case you should have the courage to apologize.

These forums are about sharing. Those who share, only to take back what they've shared, simply don't understand our tenets. Those who attack others, either in haste or even through conviction, simply aren't welcome.

Since a cool-down period seems to be in order, I am suspending the posting privileges of those involved. You can take the rest of January to perhaps reconsider your actions and - especially - your attitudes. Write me in February and I'll both reinstate your privileges and welcome you back with no hard feelings.
