NOTE: this was me being mean to this girl who said she was going to be a journalist one day.....but....i kinda dissed on her....I'm evil like san. haha....here you go

Dusty Girl:

Your dreams are false.
You live a lie.
I feel your pulse.
You start to cry.

"Oh you were right!",
Said the dusty girl.
"I live in plight.
A continuous swirl!"

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

ergh...
I'm not commenting.  Poetry is a gift, and should not be used to undermine one's ability or ambitions.

Ok, before things get out of hand.
History on me and the girl.......she's the same girl who, in my time of pure hell, shoved it in my face. When I got dumped by my one true love, she underminded my love and said it was not real......that my depression was a sham in order to gain attention. So hey......considering that period in my life messed up my head so much I lost some sort of emotion within me. Seriously guys.......you know when you get yer arm chopped off (hope not) you faint cuz the pain is immense? Well that's the body's way of protecting you.
Yea well same goes for the mind. I was suffering so much emotional pain that my mind shut off some compartments. Imagine that! I can't help but not care. Do you know how it is to have been so depressed you just STOP CARING?......yea well anyway....she dissed on me.....i've kinda made a pact with myself to stab her any chance I get for that.
all in good cruel fun.....all in payback. I know pay back is not right, but hey...i just don't care.
My bad guys, I'm not evil at all.....just sometimes and only when you deserve it.

the topic is kinda mean but the poem was well-written.
hope you settle your differences.

great poem dope.

a poem is supposed to express emotion and feelings. if this is what he felt when he wrote it so be it.

im sick of hipocrites, that hide real emotion for the sake of others. In reality hate and annoyance and other emotions exist, this is one of the first poems that ive seen in this board that actually goes against what most of you beleave that is true that "poetry should be used for good"
yes.
it should be used for good but not at the sake of the mental sanity of the author.

i beleave it is a totally valid poem, one that has more feeling and meaning than many others in the board.
if you cant take the heat get out of the kitchen.

I hope I never get on your bad list, if I'm not there already   Good job of expressing what you felt in this poem.

woaa....never saw this arguement!
and i'm not taking sides, but i def don't think poetry is only used for the good, if it was than why is half of it even on this forum about personaly pain, hurt, sadness....i guess this is dopey's way of being sad, but he just didn't explain that in the beginning.
i would punch the guy who ever told me i couldn't be whatever I wanted to be, but that's me and so be it.
either way I think that was a good post, it flowed real well. good job
keep em coming even if they're mean

Well I might just be ignorant and cruel, but personally, I see no reason for arguement here.  Dopey, you should be able to say whatever you want to about whatever you want.  Who cares if the topic is mean?  It's YOUR poem, say whatever the heck you want to to the girl.  I liked it myself, I kinda know where you're coming from.
