Haunting Me
Images of you
Haunting Me
The sound of your voice
Haunting Me
The arguements we had
Haunting Me
The kisses we shared

Why is it still haunting me
after a year?
Does it have to be like this?
Will there be no conclusion to this unhappy
fairy tale?

Haunting Me
You're still standing there
Towering above me with the Bible in your
Hand
Saying this is how it has to be.
You above me, Me below you.
Haunting Me
The way it should have been.

It haunts me. It shall haunt me for the rest of my days.

I'm not sure if I catch the entire meaning behind this one or not-- perhaps this is a shot in the dark, but it would seem like you were separated from your lover, for one reason or another, and now find that he/she remains near you, "haunting" you, not allowing you to forget about what you once had.  You sound impatient in this poem, perhaps because the poem is directed at this individual.  Great emotions portrayed herein.
If you would like a review rather than an amateur analysis, then this poem was great.  You excellently captured and communicated whatever emotions remain, and have remained, in the last year or so.
Welcome to Passions.  I hope you do enjoy your stay, and our company.

Welcome to Passions! I'm kinda confused as to what is haunting you. At first i thought it was about a guy, but then bible references came into play and now im swinging from a guy to God. So which one?

I'm with Dopey. I thought it was a great first post, but the reference to God threw the meaning off for me.

Awesome first post, I hope share some more with us.  Yes, some of us are left with questions, is that the way it's meant to be???  Nice job on this poem!
