Last Week!
We were great friends,
For a moment of truth,
But it was only for a very short moment,
Then you left me for an...immature male.

You spent all your time with...him,
It's like I was being ignored.
You could call it jealousy,
You could call it what you like.

He took you away from me,
You've vanished from Earth,
And all I have left of you,
Is your...grave!

That all happened last week,
Today, I'm wondering,
When he'll take the rest of you too.
Maybe he'll take your grave from me, tomorrow.

I thought that I would share this one with you all...   I wrote this one about 5 years ago...  It is about one of my best friends...  I entered this one in a competition for something to do and it ended up a semi-finalist...  I was proud of my efforts so I thought that I would share this one with you all and see what you all thought of it!!

You can't hurt me anymore than I have hurt myself already...

This is a wonderful poem.
Just remember that no one can ever steal your memories.  Try to hold on to the good ones.
Best wishes,

Indeed, no one can steal your memories...a powerful poem here, I'm glad you ended up as a semi finalist!  That's great, good work!

Wow, THIS was a semi-finalist poem? AMAZING!

That's a rude thing to say, Dopey Dope.  We don't ever make cheeky remarks about your work.
This poem was very well written and expressive, Mel.  I'm glad that you hang onto your memories.< !signature-->
