"Mandi"

An angel on earth
has just had rebirth
do not damn god for taking her away
her pain and suffering have ended today
you may no believe in heaven or going to a better place
even though she was an angel among the human race
her body was used
and her soul abused
but she found her way out
i regret deth was that route
pray for her even though she is dead
prey that her memory lives on in your own head
she was not know before birth
but she had her time on the earth
she found her wau out of a painful maze
I know for myself she'll be rememberd always

Since I never really knew her I hope no one is offended by this. But as someone said..."ask not for who the bell tolls, it tolls for thee" basically saying she was a human being, thats all I need to know to be sadened by her death.

Nice tribute to mandi.......keep it up

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I admire it daily

I haven't replied until now, but I would like to clarify that it is not because I neglected to read the poem, but because I knew nothing about Mandi, and don't want to disgrace her memory with some false reply.  I feel sorry for anyone that knew her, and suffered her loss, and indeed her as well, considering she was young at the time of her death.  I don't want to undermine anyone's genuine feelings toward this situation, so I've nothing to say.
I just thought that i would clarify that, so please do not misunderstand me.

This is an excellent poem for Mandi, I guess my late reply will move this to the top for a little longer.

Hey me too, Lake.
This situation is terrible. But at least she's no longer suffering. Nothing any of us say can change any of this, but we can remember her. Nice tribute, poet.
