Winds so cold they reach my soul
Perilously close to overload
With all my might I strain to see
The coming dawn where warmth may be

Paralyzed with fear I strain to leave
This cell of blocks my heart has weaved.
Higher and higher they seem to rise,
All being toppled by the rays from the skies.

Stepping from my cell I see the light.
He touches me gently with his infinite might,
Guiding me from the darkness I vigorously fought,
Warming with the sunshine I wantonly sought.

Reminding me of the promise that life can bring,
He touches my heart and melts the ice.
You’re my son, He said to me,
Now go be the father I know you can be.

Welcome to the family.
I love these lines.
"Reminding me of the promise that life can bring,
He touches my heart and melts the ice.
You’re my son, He said to me,
Now go be the father I know you can be."

Every minute you are angry, you lose 60 seconds of happiness.
