Loneliness

When overwhelmed in loneliness
I try to think of you
Of first times and of last times,
my memories to view.

When overwhelmed in loneliness
thoughts pour from tear to tear
Of wishes only to be held
in arms of strength right here

Where I reside, that part of me
I'm clinging to so tight,
In room that dreams my days away
and fantasies each night.

When overwhelmed in loneliness
there's not much I can do
But treasure seek that part inside
that brings me close to you.
~Wynter

A poem called Loneliness, and there was no replies on it...how ironic LOL

I liked this one alot.

Where I reside, that part of me
I'm clinging to so tight,
In room that dreams my days away
and fantasies each night.

That was a very nice stanza.

Yes, Maureen, I felt this one, I know what it's like to feel completely alone even when surrounded by friends and family. Thank you for sharing this with us.

"...but treasure seek that part inside..." Very well crafted. There seems to be a simplicity to this poem that draws the reader in. Well done.

Very nice...sometimes I go for long drives, or drink a couple beers, or run wild like a wild stallion...James

Wynter - I feel your thoughts and know your pain, but with your gift to write you will never be lonely. Write Wynter, as you have.
