Have you seen my poem?
...he left again last night,
He loves to travel 'round the world,
...not knowing where he'll light.

Last month he sailed to Zanzibar,
...at helm of pirate's ship,
He's walked the streets of Abiline,
...a six-gun on his hip.

Drifted on the winds of time,
...Polaris at his side,
He's piloted the Delta Queen,
...on Mississippi wide.

He likes to climb the mountains,
...and walk the Kansas plains,
Nature is his middle name,
...in sunshine and in rains.

With voice of bard, on ancient moor,
...he's wooed the maiden fair,
Wil'st thee be mine, his madrigal,
...as travels here to there.

He's been to places, unbeknownst,
...that I will never see,
Lived in times of long ago,
...in times of yet to be.

Some say my ode is cloyish,
...crude and rude sometimes,
But at least you must admit,
...the sucker usually rhymes.

Most of the time he's happy,
...he seldom whines to self,
Occasionally he'll chuckle,
...when pens of weest elf.

Now poem is a sappy sort,
...when heart and soul disclose,
Feelings held for tender bloom,
...when pines for beauteous Rose.

Have you seen my poem?
...as here at home I sit,
His return, I now await,
...to read what poem writ...

He certainly is a gadabout, isn't he? I like this, my friend.

Mike~
Can't resist .....

Of course I've seen your poem ...
Trail-blazing before my eyes ...
On streaking tail of comet ...
Across a 'welkin' sky ! !
