I believe he loved her...
but he was just her toy.
He stopped thinking like a
man, and reacted like a boy.
Of course it's been denied,
but you can expect as much.
He was taken in, by lying words,
and her flaming touch.
He thought the grass was greener
on the other side.
Never once believing that all the
while she lied.
Oh yes he loved her, but a
bitter lesson he has learned.
When you play in fire, you always
come out burned.
Love will always find you and
you don't have to look.
Don't let yourself be misled,
by the cover on the book!

If you can't make it so,
you need to let it go!

OUCH!!!

.... .shame on her..... a biting saga.... i'm sorry to hear these things happen..... Love is such a precious gift and people's hearts should not be toyed with.... your writing hits hard..... this is the type of thing that turns people bitter to Love and when the real deal comes along, they are closed up and jaded and miss it.... a real shame....

Vandanna....Thanks ! I'm glad you took the time to read it.

doreen peri....You are so right ! When love turns to bitterness is is VERY sad.
Thanks for stopping by.

James....Just as you said it, "we will all get our chance". I didn't mean to reflect on just the men, because us women are just as
susceptible ! But lets hope for a better out come for us all! ;-)
