Is it something of this world Is it something I can know Is it something I can plant Is it something that would grow Is it something I can touch Is it something that would show Tell me what is on your mind Please give me some kind of hint You gave me chance after chance And each one of them I've spent You always were so patient When I was getting off the track When I was straying further on You were there to bring me back Is it something in this room Is it something in your eyes Is it something made to last Is it something that won’t die Tell me if I might be warmer When I ask you only sigh Sometimes I wish to end this And ask you what you’re after Would my simple mind be met With sweet and gentle laughter Sometimes when you stop the search You discover so much more It’s not a guess, I know its love Is that what you're looking for [This message has been edited by wayoutwalt (edited 03-20-2001).] |
