bound only by the limitations of short-roped imagination dancing on the water--sink heavy in my disbelief with final swallowing of air I sink into sea of despair and fishes gather--think me food-- blowing kisses of the truth descending, I, amidst seaweed necessity confronting need-- need, I NEED, some air to breathe! as bubbles rise up, yearning blue... |

something's fishy going on around here.... so now you're a mermaid, are ya? hmmmm.... well, harpo, i'm right there with you....trying to tread water to stay alive... and i can't breathe either but i never figured out i was drowning.... lol... i have a solution... let's grow fins! but while we're down here, i heard there are many fishes in the sea... y'think? nah... never mind...maybe so, but i'm still all wrapped up in the peel-n-eat jumbos.... hehe... never mind... inside joke but oh... i've gone off on a tangent haven't i? geez, girl, i'm sowwy!!! about the poem.... yeah, the poem... well, it's kewl!makes me breathe a little easier... in out in out in out... no WAIT~ that's not breathing... that's panting!!! hehe.... off i go panting... see how easy it is to get my pants out?....speaking of which, where's my mardi gras package? mailman stops by each day with nothin' but bills!!! oh, but i got a free pass to the gym and so, i think i'm going back... that's right, you heard it right... doreen in training.... now THAT oughta make the breathing more steady, y'think? ok, i'll shutup now.... but the poem? i dig it, girl... it jams! take a deep breath.... and by the time you let it out, i'll be finished with this ramble... see? toldja! *wink* |
