Warm wind blows across the sands that glisten
from her light…
Waves of diamonds break ashore,
all shine within her night…
Her silver orb provides the theme of
romance and of tune…
Lovers bask in sweet embrace…
by the light of the Catalinamoon…

Sister sun takes up her space,
in California days…
Warming all who venture out into
her beckoning rays…
But when the day is done,
and lover’s hearts turn to romance…
The Catalinamoon casts magic light,
in which they dance…

She has many seasons…timeless wonder,
shining bright…
Her power hid inside the gentle beams
of silver light…
And in this place that’s written of,
in old romantic tune…
She’s known to those of magic,
as the Catalinamoon…

There are many skies, where many
moonlit nights abound…
But only one, the one she’s in,
where sweet romance is found…
Just like the one who wears her name,
she brightens every room…
And gives us all a chance to dance…
By the light of the Catalinamoon…

For my dear friend………”Catalinamoon”
Shine on!

and a wonderful gift to a fellow poet and friend....
lovely...from your pen to her heart Im sure
well done poetess.

We wish ourselves beautiful,
we cry in the night.
Its not the love you fear ...
its the fall from the height.
