In One's Heart

When the light of remembering
scents the air of darkness,
gone are the shadows
and warm are the smiles
that settle in the calm
of one's heart.

When the sun shines it's light
upon my face, I rise to it's warmth
holding onto thoughts, remembering
that in one's heart, you rest, in hide,
to comfort as day turns to night
and back again...

~Wynter

Wow! That came from my little comment. Thank you, for being awake to your muse and gleaning what came from a tiny phrase.
