Sunday's Song

ah sweet song do sing
O gray dove
a mourning morning's
call of love
sweet sing your coo
to wake my love,
sweet love he is,
and make
him dream then of me,
with sweet, sweet song,
break night's reverie

Such a lovely song you coo for us
Good Morning sweet Sun ...
I have a pair of turtle doves nesting "with egg" in a wicker planter on my front porch and their morning coos are a daily delight
(and a constant tease to my two kittens)

We wish ourselves beautiful,
we cry in the night.
Its not the love you fear ...
its the fall from the height.

Sunshine,

So beautiful and romantic. Always a treat to watch the one you love lost in slumber, isn't it? What a lovely start to my day here. Thank you!

Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats

~Ah S,...this truly does sing. I'll read and read again. *Peace.
