Today i went to a wedding,
It was on the beach and what a setting.

The waves rush upon the shore,
Try'g to out do what the settting was for.

All was bearfoot just to see,
How beautiful this wedding could be.

And afterwards, when all was said and done,
The couple that married said this was fun.

Then time came when it was there turn,
Everyone left, and it was their first night to learn.

For Jason and Sherrie that got married on the gulf beach tonight. And it was at sunset and what a site.

How very cool ... Congratulations to your friends ...
may it always be a walk on the beach for them.
we can still believe in happy endings..right?
your poem is a lovely gesture for them.

We wish ourselves beautiful,
we cry in the night.
Its not the love you fear ...
its the fall from the height.

Congrats to your friends...and thank you for sharing this wonderful poem! And, when that day finally does come that I get married...it's DEFINITELY going to be on the beach!! But sunset really adds to it!! Great idea!!

sp

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk into the room...

Wonderful tribute to your friends wedding day. Definitely, a beach at sunset would add to the high drama of such a day.

Very nice offering to your friends, Bernie. I can honestly say there is no other beaches and no other sunsets quite like the ones I've seen on the Gulf of Mexico.. 'tis a loverly place to be.

Blessings
