on the horizon of a fairytale

One Day Soon

It’s there…all around you
the pain you feel…surrounding the outside of you
you wear it like a cloak as if to ward off a chill

But it is her cold hand which has placed
this pain within your heart…around your spirit

The drawn look about you…almost as if a mask,
tugs at my heart…saddens my being

Waiting in the wings for a love you believed to be real,
has diminished your zest for living…you’ve now only time
to wait…for her call…with the hope that she’ll call

One day soon…a promise you hold on to…the reason you breathe
the reason you cry long into the lonely night…

Your suffering seems tireless…living…breathing…
in the memory of the last time she laid her hand upon your heart…
promising…one day soon….

May your dreams always dance to the rhythm of a lover's heartbeat...

Oh my,so many many memories. You reach this one so very well.

Always waiting for the call that never comes.

I hope yours rings much more than mine.

Best wishes
