Fuzzy-Wuzzy

~*Marge Tindal*~

To feel again
reveal again
reveling in
remember when~
heartfelt hugs
lightning bugs
Grandma's lap
tucked-in nap
remember when~
porched rocking chair
fuzzy-wuzzy wuz a bear
held in tender loving care
remember when~
a child again
with impish grin
turn within~
remember when~

Sweet poem Marge. Sometimes it is fun to remember childhood days and the things that were so important to us then. I enjoyed this.

*laughing at Doreen* - you took me right back to my Gramma's big old lap, and I remember being almost buried in that bosom, and loving every single second! What a treasure this was Marge, truly a sweet poem that evoked so many images and emotions! Thanks for the smile!

Such a lovely poem. It's always wonderful to look back on childhood memories and to remember the tenderness of sitting in grandma's lap.

Joyce~
Thanks for the read, dear.
I love sharing.

BettyLou~
The thoughts flew by and I grabbed them to share.
I just LOVE IT when that happens, don't you ?
Thank you.

Doreen~
Well, I can't be your 'mommy' -
but MAKE THAT TWO Sugar Daddy's and I'll
hug your neck for life ! !

Mysteria~
LOL @ Doreen - me too !
Yep ! I always thought Grandma's lap
should have been in my geography books.

Karilea~
And in sharing mine - I hope I've stirred yours. *Hugs*

Kerri~
Thank you.
Yes, a treasure-trove of memories shared in that familiar lap.
Glad you enjoyed this.

Marge..this was so tender, I loved it! The poems that 'just come' are the best, aren't they?

Kate~
Yeah ... they're pretty special when they fall that way.
Thank you.

Balladeer~
I was young before my time -
a childhood that was so sublime -
And upon this little rhyme
I hope I've shared my joy with you.
Grandma said that I would recall
the times of my life
to share with all ...
So upon this day it came -
a lovely remembrance
that called my name.

Grandma's are just always right !
Love n' hugs n' stuff !

Sweetie, you're never too young to begin keeping memories ...
and yes, the day will come when you will fully appreciate
the recall of memories like this.
Thank you so very much for your comments.

Melissa~
Hugs to you and loving that you share the memories.
Love ya' gal.

Thank you for taking us back to childhood's warm memories. I adored my Grandmother, and try to provide the same for children today. Even amidst the "modern" world, there truly is nothing that beats old fashioned hugs, attention and memories.
