Snow Villages

Snow villages on windowsills
for sister sick in bed.
A window cracked, as small hands play.
Outside, she cannot tread.

The purity of heart's entice.
A soul of meadow grass.
Into this world a poet is born.
A lovely Irish lass.

Her words are that of twilight song,
penned with such gentle grace.
Her voice is that of softest sigh
and thread of silken lace.

Taste the morning dew, dear poet.
Your day has but begun.
Pick wildflowers and drink their scent.
Stand boldly in the sun.

"Love is space and time measured by the heart"

Ah yes, how to become a poet...experience life! Even vicariously can yield a bit, but for real, the senses flourish. Well done! Vivid, beautiful!

Vas, Joyce and Betty,

Thank you all for reading this. It was written for a friend one day to see if I could pull her out of a sad mood. It gave her a smile, as it was intended. Aren't smiles nice? :-)
