Upon the rolling hillsides,
beneath the drifitng breeze,
in creaking scented greenwoods
with whisper spoken speech,
cross meadows sleek and oiled,
on trails from field to sea,
the soul imbibes connection
to mother of the seeds.

With sovereign gypsy wonder
her flight path rides the wind
from golden grass to rivers
she brings her own to blend.
With pollen threads of vision
committed to extend
her spreading through the offing
the kindred of her femme.

Her past imbued with annals
of old forgotten times;
her future full of promise
and undiscovered rhyme
and she has lived tommorrow
beyond the evil crimes
forever grand and flawless
to greet the light divine.

The falling spirit showers
come washing her release
to colonies of basins
within her precious keep.
Through hail and snow she ferries
with stalwart goals to greet
the soils of verdure foilage
grand mother of the seeds.

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.
