 ~ * ~ Fond Farewell ~ * ~ by Mysteria As the sun sets behind today's sighs, Whispers of the sands of evening, Sift so softly and hesitantly. As a tiara of tiny crystal beads scatter, Amidst the fragile threads of ebony, While one pure heart embraces the moon. She calls to the soaring wings of eagles, Slowly awakeneing her hibernating spirit. Her heart is so burdened and heavy, Long has she suffered her grief. So many seasons of the new moon past. So lost and alone in her emptiness, Her fragile heart, broken, Unable to escape her confusion. "Oh spirit guide" she cries, "So many things in life confuse, And torment my weary soul. How can I live without his love? My strong brave no more will hold me, Stroke my ebony hair or, Hunger for my passion, and Seek truth in my loviing eyes?" You named him "Fly With The Eagles", Does he now talk of peace with you?" Crystal tears of shattered glass, Reflected off her tormented soul. It was the 7th moon, it was the time. The sands has sifted long. She knew she must set him free, Let his soul soar with eagles. Her heart was withering and dying, Like fall leaves turning to dust. How long had she felt the tears of acid, That now ran down her cheeks? Her grief had consumed her soul. So it was, with one final love cry, She bid her eagle spirt goodbye, To fly on the wings of eagles, With her face to the wind, She closed her weeping eyes, And bid her brave, a fond farewell. Thank you Kit for reading my little saga. It was changed somewhat from the original story told to me, but it still works as a nice story. Thanks again for reading it. |
