And so there are tears for a winter lost,
Springtime welcomed in fashion of warmth,
But she will miss those cuddles,
Under the blanket of chills.
Underneath broken signs and racing entrapments,
She glides with determination,
Feasting on her foes with will,
And the need to be the one who always knows.
There are tears for forever moments,
Lost within the years of getting comfortable,
And getting lazily contented to accept the unnacceptable.
Dangerously lips pass over hers,
And she kisses yet another thought,
Of roaming into the safe distance,
Without ever looking back into any eyes,
That implore her sense of duty and grace.
A thorough lady
A finished young girl,
Outwardly pulling it together,
But inwardly loosing all she ever thought she was.

and she cries and cries and cries...I am a MARATHON crier--and? I walk and cry so the neighbors KNOW I'm nuts...sigh

this was touching and I could SO relate...thank you.

Temptress~
Such tender thoughts -

'There are tears for forever moments'
And I've shed more than a few.

'And she kisses yet another thought'
One too many or far too few.

Wonderfully done, poet.
