Of the dead garden I see before,
These old and tired eyes saw daylight,
Sunshine amonst the flowers of lore,
From the red roses and bluebells bright,
Dreams from a nealy forgotten past,
Now doth lie under the bitter cold,
The snow provides a blanket, a mast,
From frozen in the dreams oh so old,
This winter has been so long and hard,
And so the garden will long for spring,
To elminate the blues and gaurd,
And wait to see what my heart will bring,
And upon me the old feelings I lack,
Spring returned and the flowers are back.

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Beautifully expressed. Looking forward to those flowers. Thanks!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

Very nice! I guess all of us are longing for spring flowers......at least in the northern parts of the country.

Oh I like this. There is nothing quite like the old forms of poetry. Beautiful. Joyce
