Morning
Virginia Salter

morning
window of opportunity
clean slate
new start
make a way in the new day
open wide the doors to avenues of change
one foot forward
then the next
marching out
into grand experiences
unique endeavors
challenges
dreams
accomplishments

but
the air is chill
I’m sneezing still
I’m almost comfortable here
in what I know
in what I do
I don’t want to face a zoo
of unknown things
of unknown times
of strange and
eerie anti-
rhymes
can’t
I remain
in like endeavor
not having to
be ultra
clever?
can
I or
can
I not?

Your thoughts dance across the page so freely. Very naturally and that is indeed, not easy. A very nice write.

After years of searching, I have found I am nothing more, nothing less...I am in truth Just A Woman after all.
