By Invitation Only ...
~*Marge Tindal*~

Upon whose summoning didst thou cometh
across this moat of fallen tears
rapping upon an empty heart ?

An invitation for your presence
to whisper across my night in ribbons of desire ...
was not issued from this heart

Please be gone ...
for my thoughts remain with another
three heartaches ago

There is no celebration here ...

LOL Doreen~
What ARE those things doing ?????

Denise~
I had not the slightest clue
what this muse would have me do ..
I only know she was intent
on seeing that this verse was sent.

Martie~
There was a sorrow
this little muse brought,
of a heart not open
to another assault.
I know not where she came from
or even where she went ...
but in refusing the invitation
perhaps she had her vent.

JanetMarie~
Can you use 'bittersweet' and Girl Scout Cookies in the same breath ???
LOL@ you !
Come back - I'm out !

Karilea~
The curves of the heart are many -
but Girl Scout Cookies ... I haven't any !
Ask JanetMarie to stop by again !

Wilfred~
Sadly this muse
seems to have left a palm print burned
upon the heart of would-be-lovers
she has spurned.

*Thanks to all of you for your gracious replies.

Margie girl, Excuse me please may I come in? Just making sure you know I Love this dear heart. Because I surely do. Fabulously written, but then it wouldn't be anything other than perfection coming from you dear heart.

So miss, since I'm stealing time, (now does the theft of time that stole me from you in the first place, make it fair? Oh whatever, I'm here!) Anyway since I'm now stealing back some time I had to say I love this. And can I come in, pleaseeeeeeeee. I just know someone is going to find out that I'm committing theft, and I shall be executed at dawn. And if I'm going to suffer anyway I want to spend it with those I love.
Love and warm stuff

Mysteria~
LOL @ 'wrong door' ...
Glad you knocked.

MARSHA ~
Now this is cause for a smile.
Should they put you in chains for thievery
I shall break down the doors and rescue you.
You are a wonderful sight for these eyes !
I love ya', gal !
Miss you broadly !
If you 'swing' at sun up ...
I shall be there with a band of merry poets
to spring you free !
*HUGS*

Hey Marge, if it's not working for you right from the heart then send them away! I love the outspoken writing here and the truth and honesty are working big time...good write!!

The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges.

on my drive to work Friday morning.
Not sure yet where it came from ...
