I brake my chains,
that bind me to you.
I hold my breath,
and wait a while.
My reaction, my dependency
a high price for me to pay.
I feel the fresh rain,
and for a long while
I stand contemplating my freedom.
A long road and a short road intersect me.
The short one,
leads me back to hell.
The long one,
leads me to heaven.
I, then pray for my
fears and confusion to
wither away.
My decisions are upheld,
as I search for a better way.
While I just enjoy the rain,
feeling my freedom,
without my pain.

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.
