There once was a time
When reflections of you
Touched the most warmest
Parts of my beating heart.

I dreamed of you
In fondest repose,
Whilst all along
I loved you in silence.

You, my secret muse
Shall never know,
For to share my mind
Would summon sadness.

Feelings shall remain hidden
In timeless mental frames
Where once the love of you
Was all that dwelled within.

Thy love now lives
Between heart and soul
And will reside there
Till death calls me home.

The last verse caught me, Loved this

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Kate, this poem really tugged at my heart strings and it was so very obvious that the words came from the depth of your lovely soul.....Sue

Princess Pout,

I can relate to this too. The simplicity and honesty of this are beautiful! Nice writing and welcome to Passions.
