Listening to every heart

To her morning, come….

She looks to you
Overlooks the rest

Should her dream come true
She shall be blessed

But if you are now not the one
Than do not be there, come the sun

Do not lead her love astray
Do not promise that you’ll stay

For she is one of liquid rhyme
One who has a sense of chime
One for whom true love rings
That which only a true love brings

So to you, I offer simple words
Lest you think her love, unheard,
If your spirit should fall in the night
She shall still arise in the morning, bright

But if you believe she is the one
Then please, to her morning, come

"But if you believe she is the one
then please to her morning come."
I have felt this a few times...and have hoped that my morning would be full of sunshine....James

Beautiful.

"Do not lead her love astray
Do not promise her you'll stay"

I love what you've done with this.
Excellent, Sunshine.

To hold tomorrow we must first be willing to let go of yesterday.

Sunshine, this is such a good advice,IF HE'S GOING TO HURT HER FEELINGS, JUST GET THE HECK OUT!
Sorry I got carried away,
Poetry at its best, well done!

oh my oh my...
I do so love when you are inspired ...
this is so way cool...
the vocab and language..the rhyme ...
but the emotions essence is the soul of this
gem ...

"So to you, I offer simple words
Lest you think her love, unheard,
If your spirit should fall in the night
She shall still arise in the morning, bright"

"She shall still arise in the morning, bright"

Yes she will - regardless -
and no poet is more deserving of a worthy true love

This is a treasure poem for sure
