~EARTH~WIND~MOON~FIRE~

The darkness of the sky is slowing unveiling,
Beckoning me to enter the secret garden of my mind

Mind's eye envisions a soft, lush, green canvas,
A painting etched from the palette of a Master.
The earth, wind, fire, moon and stars become alive.
Evening falls, slowly it awakens the magical hours.
I breathe in the day, remembering how I was soothed.
Drenched in the sensuous curves of life’s landscape.
Safely, Mother Nature held me gently to her trunk.
I watch as feathery, clouds journey to nowhere.
How long have I waited to think these words?
To softly sing the notes of this song?
To push back my hair, feel each gentle breeze.
To simply hear the soft whispers of rustling leaves.
I remember the warmth of the sun on my skin,
And now chill to the coolness of the moon.
Reflection of the heavens on the sea brings peace.
These are the magical hours with no rhythm or rhyme.
Saturated in the beauty of all creation around me.
The magnitude of all things graced by his touch.
As I awaked in awe that I am but one with creation.
I am the trees, birds, mountains, oceans,
I am the sun, moon, and stars.
I am all colors, and creeds,
Of the artist's master plan.
Evening falls and I so slowly awaken,
Feeling the soft caresses of the moon.
At peace in my soul with the heavens and the earth.

The images here are stunning. Very well written. I am looking forward to more.

I want to thank you all for being so receiving of a newcomer to this site. I, and several friends have arrived from another site, and are in awe at the sense of community here. I shall give back more than I receive, and wish to thank you all for making me feel "hugged"!
