the song plays
and I'm taken away
every phrase is another memory
every note is another piece of me
I remember when the phrases
used to be complete
and the pieces of me fit in
with the pieces of you
we would dance by moonlight
daring the dawn to come
and when it did
we would hide ourselves in night's final cloak
fading away with the light

the song ends
and another one begins
but for me
there will never be
another melody
another song
like you

Sven, some songs are meant to end. But you never know, one note, just one note may get through. More hugs, ME

My goodness, I wish I had read this before I wrote and posted Sweet Memories for I think this is much, much better.

I like this very much...

I always believed this to be true, nor another "moment" nor another "time" yes, it is true.....especially in reference to songs...

Nobody can tug the tears from my eyes like you can, Sven.
To be honest I find it a little unnerving! (couldn't find a smilie to echo that thought so I'll use this one - *sheepish smile*)

Oh, this one is so tender Sven! It makes me picture like a summer romance or something..a holiday romance and then you're both forced to return to the real world but in the back of your mind you always remember "that one summer when.."..Oh my I'm rambling..Anyway, good stuff.

AD dear heart I've been absent from my keyboard for a couple of days and return to find such beauty as makes my eyes ache with unshed tears. This is utterly gorgeous love, truly fabulous, although I would have almost guarenteed that this would be excellent because you wrote it. But it's even better than just excellent, it is a perfect jewel.
(So did you miss me?) No I know you didn't even notice I wasn't here, except maybe it was a little quieter, I know!!
Take care love as always

Sven--This is very beautifully done...love is like a song....and the melody lingers in our memory, long after the song is played.

This sounds so sad, hope all is well.

Touching but sad piece Sven.
There is always different beat to a new song.
(unless it's Brittney Spears, LOL)
Ok,....couldn't help my self!
Bad time to crack a joke.....Sorry

I hope that the song I carry remains with me for all time!

Good to read you again, I've not had time lately to do so!
