“WILL I EVER KNOW”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
If today were to become
yesterday,
would I then wear
a smile…
If today were to become
tommorrow,
would my heart
not bleed…
If today were to become
a week,
and then a month
would my eyes not tear…
And if it all became
one year, or five,
did I waste my
precious dream…
What intriguing thoughts to ask ourselves about lives? My sincerest compliments.
No dream is wasted if cherished and held gently. Knowing though, when to hold dreams and when to let go is definitely the hardest part.
I love the depths of this. Nice one, Bill!
and yet, we can only take one step at a time, one day at a time...
I would hope, to answer your question, not
I really enjoyed you write Bill. I have such a hard time living one day at a time. I like the message I've received from this one. Thank you again. Sigh.
