*for a dear friend of mine--whose been pretty upset and down lately--kris, this is for you my friend* You seem always so suprised When I give you a compliment or two It's as if you honestly do not see The things I see in you-- If only you knew how special you were I wish I had a crystal ball so you could see Just how wonderful you truly are What a dear friend you are to me-- The way you make me laugh and smile As you try to cover up the fact that you are sad Just all the little things you do To make me happy when I'm feeling bad-- Your loving heart and caring nature Brighten up my every single day You make my skies turn to ones of blue When before they were rainy and gray When I think of you I grin For I know I have a true friend in you Just wanted to know I love ya sweetie And that you have a true friend in me too-- Amy M. Amy, well done. I am so sure your friend got your message. I see that you must be so close to this person, your friend. Poetry, in my opinion comes from what we strongly feel. What I'm trying to say is, another good one. Thanks for the read. Tammy |
